Led by musicologist and Beatles scholar Gordon Thompson, the program will explore the impact of the British invasion, led by the Beatles in February 1964, this historic concert at Shea Stadium, John Lennon's NYC connections, and discuss how their music continues to be an inspiration to composers and performing artists today.
Hosted at AIHA and produced by the Empire State Plaza Performing Arts Center in Albany as part of its "New York Living Legacy" project which celebrates the work of legendary New York State performing artists and events through performances and community outreach activities.
