Museum Gala 2024

Join Gala Co-Chairs Christine and George R. Hearst III for a night of celebration as we honor Alan Goldberg at the Albany Institute’s largest annual fundraiser.

 

Alan is one of the Albany Institute’s closest friends, serving on the museum’s board of trustees since 1989. Alan was its Chair from 1994 -1999 and led the fundraising that transformed the Albany Institute into the modern museum facility and campus we have today. That fundraising effort positioned the museum to complete a capital campaign, and begin providing world-class exhibitions, year-round education programming for all ages, and host special events to over 20,000 visitors annually. Alan is currently the Institute's Vice Chair.

Drue Sanders of Drue Sanders Custom Jewelers has designed a one-of-a-kind 14k yellow gold pendant and chain featuring a pear-shaped Ethiopian Opal for this year's Museum Gala Raffle.

Raffle tickets are $50 per ticket. There are 200 raffle tickets available. 150 tickets are available to purchase online prior to the Gala on June 1, 2024. 50 tickets will be held back for sale in person.
