Diane Shewchuk, Albany Institute of History & Art Curator
This behind-the-scenes presentation will give you an “inside” look at our special 225th Anniversary Masterworks: Paper exhibition. Due to their sensitivity to light, these items are rarely seen. Spanning three centuries, the maps, manuscripts and books in the exhibition are joined by two and three-dimensional items including a paper-mache sewing box and more. Learn about who used them, how they came to the Institute and how they are being preserved.
