Albert B. Roberts, Albany Institute board member, donor, and well-known collector died on August 29, 2021.

This event will be held at the museum with Covid-19 protocols to ensure the safety of staff and guests. All guests must provide proof of vaccination at check in to attend. Proof of vaccination includes a vaccination card, photo of a vaccination card, or the New York State Excelsior and Excelsior Plus passport. Masks are welcome where social distancing is not possible, but not required.
Among Albert’s best-known collections was the oil sketch of St. Jerome by Anthony Van Dyke, which was unveiled and displayed at the Albany Institute in 2019. You can read more about Albert, St. Jerome, and his life-long love of art here.
