Eliza is a fascinating musical narrative of the formative years of Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton with Musicians of Ma'alwyck (a chamber music ensemble in residence at the Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site, home of Eliza) and actress/singer Eileen Mack. Told through monologue, song and instrumental interludes, this program gives a special glimpse into this strong, durable and often overlooked partner of Alexander Hamilton. Music selections include works drawn from the Library of Congress American Music Collection and from the New York State Library Special Collections.
