In March of 2016, we will launch our newest program: Art Connects. This program is designed for people affected with early to mid-stage Alzheimer's and other cognitive deficits with their care givers.
We will use our collections to renew and build social connections in which all can participate and enjoy. It does not require a background in art, nor does it rely on memory.
Participants will register for four, one-hour sessions that are offered on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 for no more than eight participants each session. The four sessions will give time to build relationships and a sense of community with the art and with each other. Registration for these first two sessions is free with thanks to our donors who made contributions in honor of David E. Blabey.
Session One: March 8, 15, 22, 29 at 1:30PM
To register, call Barbara Collins at (518) 463-4478 ext 405 or collinsb@albanyinstitute.org.
