Of all the artists who worked for New York Central Lines, Leslie Ragan maintained the longest relationship, creating graphic illustrations for posters and advertisements for 25 years beginning in 1929. This poster for the New 20th Century Limited was undoubtedly Ragan's best known, produced to show off New York Central's new streamlined locomotives that were designed by industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss in 1938.
