Comments:
Dirck Ten Broeck (1765–1832) gave the bracelet to his new bride Cornelia Stuyvesant (1768–1825). The couple was married in September 1785, at the Dutch Church in New York City. He trained in law and was admitted to the bar in 1791. Ten Broeck became involved in both local and state politics, serving on Albany City Council in 1793 and New York Assembly between 1796 and 1802.
